Drew, 37 years old, is a proud father, a former MMA fighter and has a range of qualifications including a first class degree in Sport & Exercise Science and a Master’s Degree in Exercise & Nutrition from the University of Liverpool

*Psychological programme & Accountability techniques – these strategies include predicting ‘obstacles’ that could potentially knock you off track. For example, have a go-to strategy for dealing with work colleagues offering unhealthy food and when tempted to eat fast food etc.
We also incorporate a range of techniques to help the client take ownership of his/her diet and lifestyle. These include signing an online document to confirm that he/she will be responsible for her own diet and nobody else can be blamed for it not going to plan.
Goal setting and designing & implementing specific plans and strategies are also part of this programme. Vague goals such as “I will eat better”, rarely work. We also look at why you want to get healthier/fitter and/or lose weight and use this as a motivating factor.
*Due to budget – Live Skype & Facetime calls may be replaced by personalised video messages. These personalised videos are informative, but also help the client to feel accountable to Ian and/or Drew as a Personal Trainer. emails are quick and effective, however a video is more personal and often more motivating. Videos are also great for demonstrating technique and home workouts etc.
